Dr. Ying Xin is currently working as a professor at School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, China. His research interests focus on High temperature superconducting material, superconducting current limiter, superconducting cable, superconducting magnetic suspension rail transit, superconducting energy storage, etc. Dr. Ying Xin hosted or participated in several research projects funded by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published 133 papers in SCI-indexed journals, 48 papers in Ei-indexed journals and 38 papers in other publications. He is working as Secretary of International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) WG D1.69 and as Board member at Superconductor Science and Technology.
